Just returned from my trip.  I had a wonderful time and found it very difficult to leave my girls and return home.  Life is change and lately I find it more and more difficult for me to adjust.  I am very thankful and proud of the choices they have made and the lives that they are building for themselves. So I will be looking forward to the next time that we can be together.  For now it is back to the easel and the daily chores of life as I know it (at least for now).  I have posted the Bridal portrait that I delivered to my daughter.  She was very happy with the painting and we hung it over the couch.  I have a painting in progress on my easel  and a potential commission to start soon, so I have to get things settled back into alignment and get back to a schedule.  I hope you check out the painting in my gallery.

I got an opportunity to show my work in a local art gallery last night.  Angela Gelasi, owner of Blue Heron Art Studio in the Village at Winona Lake, Indiana displayed my work as her featured artist for the Gallery hop.  It was an exciting and eye opening experience for me to see people view my art and hear their reactions to it.  There will be a Wine Tasting Event in the Village next weekend and Angela is going to use The Vineyard as her featured painting.  Here are a couple of pictures from last night.
